That's his little hand up by his face.
And here's Epic:
And also her ribs and heart.
They each had their heads, femurs and some arm bone measured, and then the computer magically spit out their estimated weights. Both are just perfect. They each weigh 1 pound 10 oz, which gives them discordance of 0%, and puts them right at the 50th percentile for weight.
# gave us a quick look at his face, long enough to confirm that there isn't any cleft lip to worry about.
The tech spelled "lips" wrong. Probably because I was distracting her with all my questions, so we won't judge too much.
Then we flipped to the 3D view, and got this shot of Epic:
Not a spooky alien skeleton anymore!
But when we went back to get a 3D of #, he got shy and rolled over again.
We also learned that Epic went and turned breech on me, but she still has some time to get in the right position. I asked her to try to do that before we go back for the next ultrasound in 3 weeks, just so I'll have one less thing to worry about heading into the home stretch.
Chad has been helping us get his little siblings' room ready.
We're also running the lead names through the Chad test. It's one of the perks of being the big brother. He can sort of get #'s name out, but can't say Epic's at all. But don't try asking him to tell you what they are- he knows they're secrets!
