Natalie was not at all scared of the waves. It was kind of worrisome how fearless she was.
She would run at the waves, shout "Mommy!" (<-- her name for Andy...) and would either let the wave hit her, or sit down and play in the surf. We got a lot of sand out of her bathing suit each night.
We did this for HOURS with her. Wave comes in, we'd pick her up, waves goes out, back down she goes.

Her favorite snack? Seawater out of a sand-covered shovel. Somehow she didn't get sick though.
