Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day, Gramps and PopPop!

(We tried to get a picture of all three of them looking at the camera, but Chad was over picture-taking by that point and it didn't happen.)

Happy Father's Day, Uncles Mike, Earl and Goddaddy David!

(No pictures of soon-to-be Uncle Dave, because he and Chad haven't met yet.)

And Happy Father's Day, Daddy!  Thank you for being a hands-on daddy and sharing the middle of the night wake-up duties (especially when there is a unanimous election) and daycare drop-off duties. And for pushing the jogging stroller for more miles than me on our joint runs.  If Chad could talk he would tell you that you're the funniest dad ever, and thank you for teaching him things like how to make Indian Native American warcries noises and basketball dribbles in the crib.

Chad prepared for Father's Day this year by making a plastic Father's Day mug complete with his footprints in daycare.  This afternoon we're going to celebrate by having dinner ar the Melting Pot!  Hopefully Chad will be a pleasant diner and not get too mad when we deny him fondue and give him a bottle instead.  (We're doing a really early dinner, so if he freaks out while we're there we won't annoy too many other diners.)
