Chad looked like such a little gentleman in his Valentine's Day outfit this year. I really wanted to take a picture of him, but he was throwing a hissy fit on Valentine's Day morning (he was mad about some new teeth that are trying to make their appearance) and wouldn't give me a smile. He baked some chocolate cookies with cherry M&Ms for his teachers, but was too shy to ask his favorite classmate to be his valentine. And just in time for the big lovefest on Valentine's Day, Chad learned how to blow kisses! He's not good at the puckering up part, but he'll bring his hand up to his mouth, then throw it out at someone and say either "Maaa!" or "Baaa!" as he does it. It's the cutest little thing ever. His other new trick is carrying my lunch bag down to my car for me every day. Since I'm carrying him and his daycare bag, and my hot new purse, carrying my lunch is the least he can do. As soon as he sees my bag he'll stick his little hand out for it.
This weekend he's been grumpy because of a cold, and we're all crossing our fingers that this one stays just a cold, and doesn't progress to ear infection numero tres. Fortunately, spring has sprung in Carolina, and we were still able to have some low-key play time outside today, even with the drippy nose.
He was a lot more interested with taking the chalk out of the box and then putting it back in a thousand times in a row than actually coloring with it. Hey, it kept him occupied for a solid 20 minutes so I can't complain.
Those are cute little kicks he's wearing!
