He was very happy and giggly through his check-up, and he particularly liked the thingy they stick in his ears. She said he was one of the most active 4 month-olds she's ever seen. He's been sporting mittens again to combat his head gouging with those little razor blade nails, so she recommended putting Vaseline back there until he kicks that habit.
And then came the vaccines! He got the oral one first, because mucosal vaccines are the best kind out there. After the first shot he stopped his squirming and just gave the nurse a stare. After the second one he cried, but that only lasted about five seconds, and he was smiling by the time we put his clothes back on. What a tough little guy. I predict he's going to be one of those guys who can break a bone, but not get it checked out because he doesn't think it's a big deal. His Babci has been known to do that, so it's in his genes.

To anyone with a baby: Google "Moms with Multiples" and find your local chapter and find out when their next yard sale is. (You don't have to have multiples to go to one.) I went to one last weekend and it was AMAZING. I got there five minutes before it started and the church parking lot was full and the line was ridiculous. And everyone had brought laundry baskets to carry purchases in. It was crowded but very well organized and I got three outfits, a Baby Bjorn, a book, a Leapfrog musical table and an Eric Carle grouchy ladybug hangy type toy with a mirror all for $16. I would have bought more, but no one told me to bring a laundry basket so my arms were full, and the table was heavy.
