Can you believe these little cuties are already 8 months old?? 2/3 of a year! (And kudos to Andy for holding down the fort for this long. I would be crying in a corner if it weren't for him.)
This month the babies were less than cooperative with getting their picture taken near the laptop. Seems they are little IT geeks already and kept grabbing at the keys.
Natalie has crazy strong legs. Every night she pushes herself around in the crib to launch herself towards the back corner. Today, she tried to eject herself from her bouncer by pushing herself up and over the back. She is now banned from the bouncers. :( (She can put her efforts into using the doorway jumper instead.) Her teachers have said that her little temper comes through sometimes. The other day a baby "timbered" into Natalie and caused baby dominoes, knocking Natalie over too. Apparently Natalie was very annoyed and let the whole world know it. She's got some feistiness in her!
I swear this guy does know how to smile! He just really hates cameras. For the past few months, Natalie has been showing off how great she is at standing (with our support) and Theo was all spaghetti legs. Until he suddenly got his legs working over night, and now he's almost as good as Natalie. He'll say, "Ba ba ba" over and over again, like for the whole car ride to school, and is a champion drooler. He likes to rock with me every night. Sadly, he still does not sleep through the night, and we are pretty much guaranteed to have to take turns going in there every night. This can't last forever, at some point he has to learn to sleep, right? Man, I miss sleeping.
Bedtime stories with their big brother. Natalie was vertical when story time started, but slowly slipped onto Theo, and I didn't have enough hands to stop her.
Look! A smile from Theo!!
