Eleven months old!

Chad is 11 months old!
It's so pointless to even try to get him to pose with paper in front of him anymore.

Kind of a scary devil-eyed look

For his 11-month birthday, Chad is sporting 4 teeth (and we can see a lump where tooth #5 is getting ready!) and weighs 22 pounds.  Which is curious because he weighed 22 pounds on his ten-month birthday as well, so either he's been burning too many calories as he terrorizes the cats, or his diaper was full during last month's weigh-in.
It seems that Chad is striving to set the school record for the most Ouch Reports garnered before the first year.  Way to go, Chad- we all need goals in life.  He even got two in one day this week, which was especially impressive.  He's constantly toppling over onto things, and a teacher even saw him pic up a toy saucepan and bang it into his head.  So we've had a lot of bruises.
There's a good one on the left side of his forehead here, and there's one on his right cheek and right temple that you can't see.  On a happier note, doesn't he look good in purple?

These are some other pics from the past month.
A treasure trove of Babci's tupperware.

My tupperware isn't as fun as Babci's, so it doesn't work as a distraction in our house.

Eating a pancake!  He loves them!

And this photo just cracks my shiz up every time I see it:
He was eating leftover Basil Leek Soup!  Who would have thought it would be such a hit?  (And it's easy to make so if you like basil and leeks I can send you the recipe!)
Mmmm... leeks!

Less than a month until Chad's birthday bash!  I think we have a theme picked out, but I haven't been able to get to the store and search for decorations and paper plates/cups to match it yet.  If I don't get my act together, the theme will be "whatever was in the bargain bin at the party store" and his cake will be from Kroger's.
And even better than a party is that after he's a year old he will be off formula and drinking regular milk!  (That whooshing sound you hear in the distance is my bank account breathing a sigh of relief.)
